The banner (Photo) says:
Coming to America. Getting Legal Residence.
Free Assistance Applying For Asylum Status.
China Democracy Party, (718) 353-3319.
This
photo was taken by a CDP World Union member on January 12th,
2006, in Flushing New York. When the Chairman of the CDP World
Union Leader Wang Jun went there, he identified the flag nearby
indicated the woman was representing CDP Headquarters, a
fraction of CDP headed by Xie Wanjun. Xie is one of the original
CDP initiators exiled from Mainland China in 1999.
Xie's CDP representatives were caught by a CDP member traveled from UK in 2004 while they were doing the similar things in New York Chinatown. But that time the banner was different. Instead of ¡°free assistance¡± it said ¡°free consulting¡±. When the UK CDP member pretend as a potential customer went to ask, he was told to join the CDP to apply for asylum. And, he must pay the CDP $2000 USD for assistance. More to pay if granted asylum status.
Among CDP fractions, at least seven in the United States, CDP World Union is currently the most active one. The competing CDP Headquarters headed by Xie is also active. But by visiting its website at cdpweb.org, even a person with no political sense would found it was not like a political organization, or an organization consisting only the idiots. CDP World Union members, regard the name ¡°CDP¡± somewhat ¡°holy¡±, condemn Xie's behavior causes great damage to the ¡°CDP¡± symbol. While Xie refuses any contact with any other CDP fraction leaders to discuss the matter.
According to Wang Jun and a cdpwu.org article, CDPWU members condemned Xie's behavior that could cause symbolic damage to the CDP as a whole. So Wang lead his members to stop what Xie's people were doing in Flushing. This is at least the third time they tried to stop Xie's people ¡°to cheat innocent people¡± using the name of CDP. Only this time Xie's people called police. They had the police arrested Wang Jun after Wang returned to his office. The complaint was about ¡°assault¡±. But Wang said the woman just left the table when she found there were people taking her photos and shooting videos. Wang's arraignment is scheduled on February 26th at the criminal court of Queens, New York.
Wang Jun, whose real name is Xu Aochun, was an assistant director of CDJP military affairs research Department prior to January 2004. Before that time, CDJP and Xie's CDP had a four-year long close cooperation. Wang left the CDJP to join Xie's CDP when the two organization formally detached with each other. Then in September 2004, Wang organized the CDP World Union and elected Chairman of the new CDP fraction. Wang and his followers disliked Xie because they thought Xie did not care about CDP at all, but only the money.
The rumor said that Xie Wanjun left the cooperation with the CDJP partially because he believed CDJP was supported by certain members' financial strength multi millions strong, by doing America's biggest counterfeit computer software business, while paid him only enough to let him survive. What he believed was not true. The mistake was initially made by the U.S. Department of Justice while it mistakenly suspected a CDJP leader was involved in such a ¡°big business¡± [See Note]. However, Xie indeed got his some payments from CDJP ¡°borrowed¡± (No need to payback) from the owner of that business. And there were CDJP leaders' close friends involved in the case. From then on, Xie hates CDJP. He believed CDJP was strong because of the multi million dollars people were backing us up. He wanted to find his way to gain financial strength. However, now all the rest of the CDP fractions may take decisive measures against him. Xie had reasons to believe things wrong because the matter was confusing enough for him to believe so. However, no matter how reason he was, he has become a desigated victim and a loser for his own choice to believe according to his wishes.
[Note] The confusing was caused by a U.S. DOJ document (and the matter was confusing too). The ¡°Xia Yu¡±, in the format that last name last, in the U.S. DOJ document was not the CDJP Yu Xia. ¡°Xia Yu¡± should be ¡°Xiao Yu¡±. It was the nickname of ¡°Xi Kang Yu¡± among the arrested. However, when Xi Kang Yu was arrested, he was driving a car registered to CDJP Yu Xia. FBI knew about the car during the secret surveillance period. Did the FBI initially meant to arrest the CDJP Yu Xia? Possible. Because the address for ¡°Xia Yu¡± listed was the CDJP office address at that time. It is also possible that FBI obtained nickname called ¡°Xiao Yu¡± was driving a car belonged to the CDJP Yu Xia so they got the CDJP office address. But they still wanted ¡°Xiao Yu¡±. So they list the name as ¡°Xia Yu¡±. Or the FBI would not likely to put CDJP's Yu Xia's name in a different order to all the other five. CDJP Yu Xia was not at all involved in the business. Nor he was arrested or charged. Ke Pei Ma was not arrested, either. He was not in the United States that day and he never has returned ever since. Kai Wu received a five years probation and two million dollars fine that day, in addition to the confiscated some sixty thousand dollars cash in his pocket while he was arrested.
